Cuetec: Reinventing The Pool Cue

For over 20 years, Cuetec® has brought players - from professionals like Shane Van Boening to recreational users - cues that are on the cutting edge.

Cuetec® started out as a company obsessed with a single mission - that of preventing warping from moisture damage.

What makes a Cuetec® so great at locking moisture out? Aside from traditional Cuetec® cue construction (a solid wood core that has been encased in composite fiberglass or graphite), both ends of a Cuetec® cue are sealed with fiber nylon inserts to lock moisture out. This construction feature also has the added effect of transferring energy excellently from the shaft to the rest of the cue, for low vibration and deflection naturally (without using a hollowed core or other additions).

Cuetec® Cue Features

  • 3/8 x 14 stainless steel joint pins set into black fiber nylon to seal the cue from moisture
  • Acueweight weighting system - from 18 - 21 ounces
  • Irish linen wrap

Cynergy Cues - Cynergy Series cues are a line of cues that come standard with the Cuetec Cynergy technology shafts.

Cynergy Shaft Features

Multi-directional Carbon Fiber Filaments - Cynergy carbon composite shafts are constructed with multi-plies of resin-impregnated military grade unidirectional carbon fiber filaments. The diameter of each filament is 7 um(0.007 mm), or about one twelfth of a human hair. The orientation of these carbon fiber filaments is crucial to achieving optimal durability, strength, and performance. During the heat curing process each of these specifically oriented filaments works together to ensure there is zero net displacement. The result is a perfectly straight and ultra-strong shaft.

Polyurethane Foam Core - At the heart of each Cynergy carbon composite shaft is its ultra-high-density polyurethane foam core. This Cuetec proprietary poly-foam core ads stability to the shaft, allowing for prescribed flex and creating a more wood-like sound upon contact with increased feel and feedback.

Flyweight Front-End Construction - Less weight means less deflection. Benefitting from their ultra-strong carbon composite construction, each Cynergy shaft features Cuetec’s flyweight front-end build. This construction allows the Cynergy poly-foam to stop five inches below the tip, creating a rigid cavity with less mass and therefore less deflection on contact.

15.5” Super Slim Taper (S.S.T.) - the longest of any production cue - for a long, smooth, comfortable stroke.

Thin White Sighting Ferrule - At only .25 inches long, the light-weight, thin white sighting ferrule on each Cynergy shaft not only aids in aim contrast and depth perception, but it also provides a more familiar and stable platform for tip maintenance and replacement over the life of the shaft.

Medium Tiger Everest tip - shapes like a hard, hits like a medium, and has the control of a soft tip.
